Bux.to - can google index the sites?

On recent notices, bux.to keeps on changing the surf page's URL, and thus making Google and other bots unable to index the sites listed there, decreasing pagerank. It was also noted that recently bux.to's advertisements have dropped from 20+ to now only 10 per day. Is this a sign of a failing top PTC site?

We do not know how long can the PTC site sustain, but in support of it, do join up here.

Paypal freezes many PTC accounts

Recently news reported that Paypal have frozen many "Get Paid to" sites' paypal account. This resulted in many failure of payouts/cashouts and thus many PTC sites have switched to AlertPay.

As a result, many members became very unhappy about the delay of payouts/cashouts.

Protecting personal information

Earning money on the internet as said, ain't that hard. You've seen reviews saying scams. you've heard about credit card information theft cases. But if you load yourself with the appropriate knowledge and skills to prevent all this misharps, you can prevent some hassles, even moving house.

We have sorted Get Paid to (GPT) websites to 3 categories: Safe(Green), Unknown/Alerted(Yellow), Marked/Danger(Red). By sorting the GPT websites you visit into the 3 categories, roughly you will know how much personal information you should really provide.

Safe(Green) - GPT Websites that you trust and have been paid from before. Also those which are never marked Red, sell members' information or involved in any illegal actions.

Normally, GPT websites in the Safe category are well-designed, formally represented, and uses minimum or no popup advertisements. Safe category GPT websites provide clear and useful information. Also, take note that doesn't mean a website is being linked and recommended by other websites, it's a Safe category website. Also, it should provide sufficient and useful help from its support department.

Even if the GPT website is trusted and marked "Safe", you should try to only provide personal information such as Billing Addresses, Credit Card informations, or any other crucial information unless providing to Paypal or any other trusted transaction company. For this zone, you still have to apply basic anti-fraud knowledge but try to restrict your personal information given to only your real name, email address, time zone, country eg.

Examples: bux.to, Payflick

Unknown/Alerted(Yellow) - GPT websites that you have never used before and is totally unknown to you. This zone is between Safe and Danger zone, so websites here may vary from time to time.

GPT websites in the Unknown/Alerted zone might weakly/poorly represent their information on website, use alot of advertisements and popups, or have a bad reputation on the internet. However, if you are adventerous or don't mind spending sometime on GPT sites in this zone, you should try them out. Members should be reminded to keep a look out and be cautious.

GPT sites in this zone should be given minimum personal information. Restrict personal information to nick names(unless requiring for Cheque payouts), email addresses(for basic communication purposes) and Country(why? even without you providing, webmasters also can track you using IP Addresses).

Example: bux3, tiserbux

Marked/Danger(Red) - GPT sites that have very very bad reputations on the intenet, very bad reviews by many many people on the internet, or have a bad impression(eg did not pay you, scammed you) for you.

Websites in this category use very poor representation of the website, badly, sparsely designed, or using adult/popup advertising. They might have also been boycotted by some GPT Boycott websites(eg GPTBoycott). Such site might also install viruses on your computer.

YOU SHOULD NOT PARTICIPATE IN THESE WEBSITES AS THEY MIGHT POSE THREAT. ALSO, NEVER PROVIDE PERSONAL INFORMATION WHICH INCLUDES BUT NOT LIMITING TO EMAIL ADDRESSES, NICKNAMES, COUNTRY. If you accidentally enter these sites, CLOSE THEM IMMEDIATELY.

We thank you for reading our guide in protecting your personal information while participating in GPT websites. Also, be reminded that this is only a guideline and the author shall not take any liabilities. Share with your family members or friends with this article.
